Annpatliz W Mwihaki

As senior sustainability analyst, Annpatliz supports the Samawati Capital Partners team in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating ESG risks within investments and impact initiatives. She also is the internal sustainability champion within Samawati.

Before joining Samawati, Annpatliz spent three years with the Council of Governors Secretariat in Kenya as part of the team supporting county governments to design, implement, and manage environmental policies and projects, where she also developed an interest in the sustainable finance space through several S&E related courses with the World Bank Environmental and Social Framework, the KINSHIP Regional Conservation Program, and the Kenya School of Government. 

Annpatliz holds a BS in environmental science from Kisii University and has undertaken ESG-related courses including human rights due diligence (ILO) and environmental and social risk assessment (UNEP-FI), among others.
