Dennis Rono

Dennis has nearly a decade of experience in impact investment, risk financing, and commercial banking and is on the Samawati Capital Partners team that leads the development, management, and execution of investment advisory mandates.

Before joining Samawati, Dennis was an investment officer with Business Partners International where he was involved in deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management. He previously was a credit analyst for commercial banking at Ecobank Kenya Limited where he was involved in client relationship management and deal structuring.

Dennis holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and statistics from the University of Nairobi, a diploma in business and information technology from the Institute of Advanced Technology (IAT), a certificate in start-up valuation methods from Duke University and certification in private equity and venture capital from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi.
